What’s on

Our Calendar

Everything The Ethics Lab runs in public lives here: workshops, student chapter meetings, speaker events, and live curriculum sessions. All times are Eastern (ET).

  • Workshops
  • Chapter meetings
  • Speaker events
  • Live curriculum sessions

Click any event for its description, location, and joining link. Nothing here is paid, and nothing here needs an invitation unless the event says so.

What you’ll find on it

  • Workshops

A single session — 45 to 90 minutes — run by our team for a class, a club, or anyone who signs up. We cover how AI systems actually work and the questions they raise about bias, misinformation, privacy, and academic integrity. Some run online; some are in a school, and those are listed with the host school's name.

  • Chapter meetings

Ethics Lab chapters are student-run groups at their own schools. Their meetings are on this calendar so members can see them in one place. Most chapter meetings are for students at that school, so check the event description before turning up.

  • Speaker events

Researchers, professors, and people working in AI answering questions from students. These usually run online and are open to anyone — the video link is in the event itself.

  • Live curriculum sessions

Teacher-led sessions on the learning platform, where a class moves through curriculum modules together. These appear here so students know when their session is, and joining needs a platform account.

How to join one

  1. 1. Open the event in the calendar above. The description says who it is for and where it happens.
  2. 2. Online events carry a video link in the event itself — no registration, no ticket. Turn up.
  3. 3. In-person events name the host school. If it is not your school, email us first and we will tell you whether the host can take visitors.
  4. 4. Want the whole schedule in your own calendar? Use the “+” button in the bottom-right corner of the embed to subscribe.

Nothing listed, or want us to run one?

The calendar is thinner outside term time, and school-hosted sessions are scheduled with the teacher rather than published weeks ahead. If you want a workshop for your class, a speaker for your event, or a chapter of your own, those all start with a conversation.
